I'm curious if it will include any gameplay footage. GTA V was so all-encompassing it's hard to imagine what they'll change to give VI a unique feel.

Well there was that rumor about having to clean up your crime scene or whatever. Something like picking up bullet casings etc

Interesting. That definitely implies more subtle approaches to crime than in previous games.

I’ve lost all hype. Rockstar is Woke, and have cleaned out most of the guys that made Gta 5. I mean we can see this, as we are now a woman protagonist. I loved RDR2 but I believe that Rockstar is going to screw this up. GTA cannot be woke by any means.

Lara Croft is a female and that game series does well. Lots of females play GTA V.

I don't think they would be catering to them. I just pointed out that you said you would bet it would be 90%+ would be male players. You would lose that bet.
I imagine it would be like GTA V in that there will be multiple protagonists and one would be a female player for those specific missions.
The game has not come out yet and people are already freaking out about the game. Don't buy it if not going to like it.

There are over 200k people who play on custom GTA5 servers through fiveM. The story has zero impact on whether or not they will purchase 6.
Rockstar bought cfx, which develops fiveM and RedM. They have had bullet tracing and a ton of custom scripts there for years which im sure rockstar has absorbed and copypasted into gta 6s development.
Yall are open to have discussions about the game, but unless it's just an unplayable mess online, it will do well.
The biggest WTF to me is not having the PC release until later.
Also, probably 40% of the players on GTA RP are female, closer to 55 on RedM because OMG i wanna train horses!! They are everywhere.

By making the lead female? When given the chance in most games guys pick female peds just to see the animated tits while they play. If anything this will make more men buy it. It's GTA not soldier of fortune or madden. Chick lead is fine if theres no alphabet people or muh patriarchy suffocating the story

Some of you people are weird, seems like you are really just finding a reason to get pissed off. Maybe having a women lead is more about telling a story that hasn’t been told before in gaming. Maybe they like the idea of having the story from both the mans and the woman’s point of view. I seriously doubt it’s related to getting secret BlackRock DEI high score.

You’re kinda right. I seem to remember Trevor being a bit of a freak going whatever way he wanted in V and there was an entire dlc revolving around a gay character in IV. The question is if rockstar drops the characteristic humor that fans have come to know and love from the franchise.
If they put on the kid gloves when it comes to making fun of any minority or lgbt characters, there will be more backlash than you’ve seen so far and imo it will be warranted. No one knows right now though
