I just heard on the news that the dude who attempted to assassinate Trump the 2nd time on the golf course won’t have a fricking court date hearing until September 2025?

Probably. Makes as much sense as an officer shooting at him from a few yards away and missing him entirely. Like Butler, the story doesn't add up.

Not uncommon at all for a defense to ask for more time for a trial to start…especially when they want to potentially go the insanity plea.
September 2025 trial would be 1 year after the attempt, really not that uncommon at all. The rape trial I was a juror on, was 2 years after the incident
