Or should they just let it grey naturally? What say the O-T, do you look down on those that do?

Just go gray. Same way you should just shave it off you're losing it. Dyeing or doing a comb over just looks desperate.

Depends on if it looks natural or not, I know several guys 30's and 40's who dye their hair and you couldn't tell

Why not? I dye mine.

Especially if you still have a lot of hair. Dye only looks silly if you start spray painting your scalp like some balding-in-denial men do.

Started turning gray at 15. Totally white by 40. Men who dye their hair are insecure and weak minded.

I don't get men coloring their hair. To each his own, but in my opinion, it never looks good, and it's almost always obvious. There's a lot of stuff to be vain about, but your hair going gray, when it's obvious you're not young anymore, is just weird to me.

maybe if they are homosexual

The trend I've been noticing is 40ish aged women deciding to just let their hair go gray. A decade ago I felt like I never saw women under 50yo with gray hair.

I look at it as unnecessary vanity, but it is not a big deal, kind of sad when they are poor and can't do it right but still think it looks OK.

I read a story couple of years ago from a guy that did some work for Paul McCartney in the Hamptons, don't know if true, but he said Sir Paul is notoriously cheap when it come to cheap things, and he dyes his own hair with Just For Men
