The first round teams should play on neutral site.

Oregon is top seed will not get a home game

Thoughts?

I think it should be on home campuses until the championship game, but I’m sure the former NY6 bowls wouldn’t have agreed to expanding the playoffs without being involved.

Should be like the NFL. Only game that should be at a neutral site should be the championship

Bro the NFL has 32 teams

NCAA has 119

The seeding is subjective

NFL home games are earned

I think HFA is already big, and potentially huge with weather. So with the idea of a “fair”‘competition you need to play on a neutral site after the first round.

Absolutely. It’s ridiculous to rob the top 4 of a home game. Oregon has to travel to LA to beat a team they already beat.

Quarterfinals should be a home game.

Semifinals neutral

Championship neutral

Well for starters the committee doesn’t need to reward teams that’s likely to get their arses kicked with byes just because they won their rinky dink conference championship. If Boise State and Arizona State played Ohio State or Texas 10 times, OSU & Texas would beat either by double digits probably 6 or 7 out of 10.

It should be home games until the championship game

Having teams travel to 3 straight neutral site bowl games is asinine

Home games for the first two rounds also helps with ticket sales. You have to take travel costs into account for fans for potentially 4 extra games.

This is dumb. They both play roughly the same amount of games per season.

But yes the CFP seeding is too subjective and the committee crap is dumb.

Nah. No Byes. Expand to 16. Top 8 get home games on 12/14 and 12/21. Semis on NYD/NYE. Champ on following Monday. Get rid of Champ weekend.

I don't think cold weather is as big of an impact as many people think. It's not like the NFL where teams are playing multiple games in the cold and are used to playing in it.

Most Big 10 schools are done with football by last week in November, before it gets really cold.

Respectfully, I ask you to think about the NFL as they play all of their teams in the division twice one away one at home

So you have a résumé of teams playing other teams during the regular season

Think about Indiana, they didn’t play all of the tough teams in their own conference and managed to make the playoffs and then got whacked in the playoffs

It’s not the same at all as NFL

Needs to move to top 32 teams and double elimination if you really want the BEST team to win.
