I’m confused because @potus2024 and other bots have been telling me that Elon and Vivek were sick of Trump now because of the debt ceiling increase included yet both have come out in favor of this version of the bill. It’s almost like the bots on this board just jump on any reason to cry about Trump just like the……Democrats… isn’t that a coincidence?

Elon nailed it.
Pubs don't have a super majority so Democrat support is needed.
Dems didn't vote for it because it didn't have the pork they require to approve a bill so if the government shuts down it's on them.
Republicans need to hold fast to presenting only specific streamlined bills.
And since Democrat constituents are likely more effected by the government shutdown, it will be Democrat representatives that will get something done.
The MSM of course will blame republicans but hopefully enough alternated media outlets win share the truth pork loaded bills need to come to an end.

He will be more effective doing this outside the administration. Trumps spending is going to cancel out any savings DOGE expects.
They are working opposite of each other, and I dont believe Trump is serious about cutting govt.
