Have some from when my dad was @ LSU between 1945 and 1951 and some from early to mid 80s.
Suggestions anyone?
Hate to put them in a recycle bin.

Contact LSU archives and see if they want them?

Ebay?
Just checked and there are surprisingly a lot of them on ebay.
I have the one with Joanne Woodward in it... before she left LSU for Paul Newman and Hollywood.

I’ve still got mine on the bookshelf. I’ll guess somebody will throw them away when I pass on!

Trying to get rid of stuff. Parents both died in 2020 and worthless sibs did nothing to help me get rid of 76 years of parents accumulation.
And then there's my stuff...

I understand completely. I am retiring soon and have to clean out 30 years of shite from my office before Christmas! I believe today is the day!

My grandparents gumbo from the 60s definitely has some sorority girls in black face

They are good for weightlifting. Keep those biceps toned.

I went to LSU for 4 years and never got or knew anyone who got one. I don't even know how those who got one did it.

I had carpal tunnel surgery and now a surgically repaired distal fracture of my wrist.
Don't think weightlifting is in my future.

Put 'em up on FB market place. Charge five bucks for the ones in the 70s-80s. I don't know about the ones from '45 thru '51, I have my dad's Gumbo's from '47 thru '54 and enjoy going through them, but there aren't many folks still around who attended LSU during that era.
I have the Gumbo yearbooks from '86 thru '88 but have lost the ones from my junior and senior years from '89 thru '91 and I'd be tickled as hell to be able to get copies of those. So I'd imagine there are probably a few folks out there who would be appreciative of the opportunity to replace lost copies from their years at LSU.
