I'm not going to ask anyone to post on here where they recommend to get an inspection sticker (front windshield) as I don't want to out any businesses who may not follow Louisiana law to the letter.

However, I am going to ask that you email me at

tigerdroppingswc@gmail.com

if you know of an inspection sticker place around the BR area who looks the other way if a vehicle's front and driver's side windows are perhaps tinted darker than Louisiana law allows for --- because the vehicle was purchased in a different state where tint laws are not as strict as Louisiana's tint laws.

Haven’t had one on all of my cars in years.

Biggest cash grab there is.

I agree.

My vehicles for the last 13 years have been registered to a different state that doesn't require this money grab.

However, because this vehicle I purchased for my daughter is split financially with my ex-wife, and she wanted the vehicle registered in Louisiana, I'm trying to find a place in the BR area who doesn't give two shits about tint on the front windows (driver's and passengers). I know you can see through them, however, I believe it may be darker than 50 %.

I can say that I have much bigger worries in my life, past and present, than to pretend on here about trying to obtain an inspection sticker --- and what I really do for a career.

Just roll without one…. The ticket for no sticker is much less than having an expired one.
We all know the “sticker” don’t stick for a whole year Mr Cop Person.

That's precisely what a cop pretending on here about trying to obtain an inspection sticker --- and what he really does for a career would say.

I would, but because the vehicle is shared financially with my ex-wife, and I really don't want to communicate with her anymore than I already have to, I'd rather be "legal" in the sense of getting an inspection sticker --- but would like to keep the tint as is, or go even darker, whatever my daughter prefers.

I guess I'll roll into Scotlandville or North Baton Rouge and take my chances.

When I got a new car the guy up here in the country took one look, said “this thang new?” I said yea and he said “no point in testing then!” and slapped it on. Whole process took approximately 70 seconds.

Just received a ticket in Port Allen for no sticker (never got one after deer went through the last windshield). A deer owned by the state of Louisiana, I might add. Ticket was 155.00. Got a sticker and brought them proof. Made no difference to them. Had to pay.

Haven’t had one in 3 years. BRPD too understaffed to do traffic stops for that.

Was it an inspection point? A lot of times they will sit on the exit ramps of the bridge checking cars as they pass.
