Randy recently announced he is stepping away from his ESPN job and he needs everyone's prayers.

As a side not as I get older it is so disconcerting to see such s physical specimen batting such a terrible illness and being a decade younger than me.

Why wouldn’t Larry respect Randy’s privacy? If Randy wanted people to know, he would have said something. It was obvious from his last tv appearance that he didn’t want that info out

I know Fitz shouldn't have done this, but I can't fathom wanting to keep something like this a secret if it were me. I'd want all the prayers and energy I could receive

It was 2001. I was 16 years old and was visiting my brothers’ apartment in Lafayette. Their neighbor was a cousin of Randy Moss and it was a Friday night.
We were all hanging out and the neighbor says that his cousin and Daunte were going to come over. We thought he was fricking with us but the Saints were hosting the Vikings on Sunday so we thought ok maybe he’s really not messing with us.
Next thing you know there’s a knock on the door and sure shite enough it’s Randy Moss and Daunte Culpepper. They were the most down to earth guys and we played madden for like 3-4 hours. They had a couple drinks with us and then left. They hadn’t told anyone their plans once they flew in. They had rented a car in New Orleans, drove to hang out, and then drove back to New Orleans at like midnight. It was 2001 so I’m sure it was a lot easier to sneak away compared to now. Anyway, that’s probably the coolest story I have with a pro athlete.
Btw Dauntee was a huge frickin dude.

Randy likes a drink, or at least used to. I always thought he had fatty liver from the alcohol which caused the jaundice.
