Nuss has a strong chance to be the LSU career leader in a lot of passing categories

if he comes back.
Without the bowl game, he is currently ranked:
3rd in career completion %
6th in passing TDs
7th in completions
8th in passing attempts
9th in passing yards.
If he has zero improvement and simply replicates his stats this year, he will finish:
1st in completions - (755 cmp)
1st in attempts - (1,201 atts)
1st in passing yards - (9,198 yds)
3rd in passing TDs - (63 TD)
3rd in completion % - (62.3%
The current Top 3 in each of those categories:
Completions:
1. 674 - Hodson
2. 621 - Burrow
3. 587 - Wickersham
Attempts:
1. 1,163 - Hodson
2. 1,005 - Wickersham
3. 934 - Jamie Howard

Can you tease out the non conference games and give us his stats vs SEC teams only? I would also be glad to know TD/INT ratio in SEC contests.

Everyone needs to ask themselves 1) How highly ranked would Nuss be if he went to the portal? And 2) How much is he worth?

Stop.
Nuss has his issues but he’s still a solid QB. Dude can make some damn good throws that most college QBs can’t.
My only complaints about him is I wish he would tuck and run sometimes instead of trying to make a pass play when it’s not there that has caused some turnovers. Other than that, he’s a very solid QB.

Nuss being third in completion percentage shows that before Burrow and Daniels we had some bad qb play

So, you would have to do the same to every other QB also. Although some didn't turn it over as much, they still padded their numbers against cupcakes. Apples to apples man. He's still the best QB on this team and will be if he comes back next year.
