Reports are he may be taking the UNC job, shocking. I believe if we weren’t in the contract situation with BK we should have definitely jumped on that.

Why do people think we can old coaches stay great forever. How'd Bill do once Tom left?

& be stuck with his son as head coach once he calls it quits? Those were his demands at UNC. No thanks

Big name hire that’s passed his prime. Tom Brady carried him.

Nope, never, nada, not a chance!

I'd take Tom Brady as coach before Belichick.

Do some of you have to watch YouTube videos every morning just to tie your shoes?

Can we get Andy Reid instead?

His former players said he wasn't fun to play for. Winning was fun but being on a Bill Belichick coached team was rough. I just don't see many college aged kids that would be OK with that. He'd probably be better off coaching at a military academy.

I understand that perspective, but what he also would bring to a program is
Being able to hire top talented position coaches looking to learn and get his support for their future.
Being able to recruit to LSU talented players that feel like being coached up and presented properly to NFL personnel would be very beneficial to LSU program.
He could retire in 2-3 years after building the above and hopefully top respect for our program again.
He could depart and leave LSU with talented coordinators and potential young HC that could thrive at LSU for years.
Just some thoughts

Absolutely not although the press conferences and watching that dude interact with the movers and shakers in BR would be must watch data.

That AD needs to be fired. How many days has he coached at the collegiate level.
