Need to update the wife's luggage. Anyone know the best place to look? Not LV, but something pretty good.

Travel Pro is pretty nice. I have a number of pieces from the Platinum Elite collection. Nicest luggage i have owned.

We just got back for ~3 weeks in Europe. Travel Pro + Osprey Transporter and DayLite 26+ for us.

You can find good quality used luggage on Facebook Market Place or eBay all day long for 1/2 the price.

Oh, almost forgot. The Platinum Elite has a lifetime warranty, even for airline damage, if you register the bag when purchased. I've had to use it twice due to airline damage. One was repaired free of charge. The other was replaced at no cost. Nice benefit, though their bags are not cheap. Can get sales every now and again.

Briggs & Riley and Tumi both make good quality luggage.

We got one of those solgaards with the hanging compression closet inside. It works surprisingly well and are going to get another one

Been happy with the Monos stuff we picked up. They run promos pretty often.

Mrs. BTB (no pics) got Calpak last year. I used one of them for overhead storage and loved it. It's tough and comes with compartment customization if you want to use the dividers. They move smoothly on the wheels. Simple design and colors too.

Travelpro had a lot of stuff on sale on their website starting thanksgiving week. Seems like they still have 40 percent off.

I've owned several brands and TravelPro has been the best for us. Very durable and well organized.

Another vote for Travel Pro. I have one of their backpacks, a medium sized luggage and a carry on. Been happy with all of them; I have their top line product (Platinum Pro).

If I was travelling weekly, I'd consider Briggs and Riley as they have the best lifetime warranty.

Tumi fan here. I use them for carry-ons and bough my wife and I matching mid-sized ones for checking.

She likes hard side carry-ons, so I did also get her an AWAY which she seems to like.

If going non-hard side, I’d go Tumi with ballistic nylon. If hard side, personally I’d go with something like away and replace every few years.
