The wife and I are planning to take a short trip to Arkansas during the holidays. Planning on spending 1 day in Hot Springs, 1-2 days in Little Rock, and 1 day in Eureka Springs. The restaurants don’t have to be fine dining just good food. Any recommendations are appreciated, tia

In Little Rock, Allsopp and Chapple. Outstanding. Check out their menu.

Allsop actually is good. I also like Cache if downtown.

George's is excellent but you will need a reservation. If it's a weeknight, you can probably get a bar seat.

Other places: Ciao Baci, Trio's, Cheers, Wright's BBQ, Root Cafe.

I have not been to Deluca's yet but there is one in Hot Springs and LR. Everyone raves about it.

Friend,

The only nationally noteworthy restaurant in that region is Deluca. We first ate there in 2019 and fell in love with its pizza. It is the best pizza in America outside the Boston to Philadelphia corridor.

Deluca is a greasy pie. 501 prime is a really good steakhouse with surprisingly good sushi.

Brood and Barley in North Little Rock (just across the river from downtown LR) is a cool bar with quality food.

Samantha's Tap Room & Wood Grill in LR is good.

Another vote for Deluca’s Pizza in Hot Springs.

David Burger is a regional chain with several locations around LR. It is very popular, and my one visit found it solid for affordable burgers and fries. They constantly bring out bowls of hot fries for anyone who wants more.

My parents bought a home in this area and we visit often. Places I've dined at and enjoyed are:

Grateful Head Pizza
Luna Bella
The Ohio Club
Superior Bathhouse Brewery
Steinhaus Kellar
McClard's BBQ
Home Plate
Melinda's Coffee Corner
Village Hibachi

Hot Springs doesn't have a ton of options, but we have found you can have a good meal there if you rotate these places.

My wife and I really enjoyed our meal at Luna Bella.

Nice casual lunch with beers at Superior Bathhouse Brewery.

Breakfast at the Pancake Shop before leaving Hot Springs.

Grotto in Eureka Springs is overrated. The ambiance is nice, in a cave, but the food and drinks were mediocre at best. Staff was nice though.

That's all I got.

There's a great Mediterranean place in Hot Springs called The Goat.

George’s is great, little speakeasy there too. Check out Cypress Social in maumelle (15 min or so outside of Little Rock depending on where you stay). Capeo in North Little Rock is good for Italian. Alsopp/Chaple is nice in downtown area.
Others people like: Petit & Keet, Pantry
