Website is garbage. Donation process is stupid. Why do I have to pledge a total amount and then set up a 12 month payment plan rather than just sign up for a monthly donation (like every other charity)? Do they want me to stop giving in 12 months when payment plan ends?

And how about offering something for signing up as a monthly donor? Maybe if I sign up to give $100 or more a month I can go to a practice before the season, or get a happy birthday video message from Whit Weeks or whoever. Something! These things would cost LSU nothing and could entice a lot of people to donate.

LSU needs to put forth at least a little effort if they really want thousands of small money NIL donors. What they're doing now is pathetic.

I believe that if you trade a good or service for a donation it’s not tax deductible

Then don't donate if you don't like it.

This is the saddest thing I have ever read here.

Try sending them an email and see if you ever hear back.

Kudos to all of you who do give, but my confidence in them isn’t high at all.

Correct, like at church if you pay money to the youth car wash to raise money for a trip or something, you can’t deduct.

So donations to a slush fund to pay college athletes are tax deductible? Serious question.

Totally Agree ... Don't even give you a Hat for Joining and Donating

It's terribly ran ...

I thought yes, but I’m wrong. They are not.

His point obviously went way over your head.

It’s all about making the NIL collective far more successful.

By making the website more efficient, flexible, and giving donors cheap incentives, it allows the University to collect more donations.

I was wondering how the IRS hasn't come down on this. I'm assuming NIL earnings are also taxable.

Stuff like this needs to be sent by email to Woodward our AD, fans requests are important.

I thought they ruled that none of it is tax deductible?

I don't think people even considered crowd-funding NIL before the fan-led grass roots campaigns the last few weeks.

I believe this is false. The website states that payments made to bayou traditions collective are not considered charitable donations.

Ole Miss is way ahead on all this, they have tons of small donors.

Yeah the website sucks. Everything you click just brings me to other sites. No thanks
