Didn’t clemson lose to UGA 34-3 in their fist game?

Didn’t Clemson lose to South Carolina in their last game of the regular season?

So Clemson was 0-2 against sec competition.

They had one less loss than LSU.

I’m not convinced Clemson wins. I think their showing solidifies validation that South Carolina, BAMA, and Ole Miss would be better representatives in the college playoff. The only way Clemson and SMU have a chance at the playoff is because they played in the ACC this year. It’s a charitable gift.

It’s a toss up. Knowing how incredibly unprepared BK is for season openers

They are at home. They have more coming back. They have a coach who wins big games. Did you not watch us shite the bed against a shitty USC team this year?

I was at the Acc championship game today, clemson got 3 phantom calls. That SMU would of got off the field on 4th down, that turned into 21 pts

Clemson does alot of screens
And Kelly will have to watch the pick plays, they got away with it 3 times
Number 13 is there best wr( he is a true freshman this year)

Not sure how you would have any other opinion, at this point, that Clemson beats LSU in the opener.

Not sure how you could be so sure of it.

I provided facts about Clemson.

USC went 6-6 with losses to 5 loss Michigan, 6 loss Minnesota and 8 loss Maryland and BK couldn't even manage to clear that low hurdle of a team. I've seen nothing to indicate this man is capable of getting his team ready to win a season opener. And that was in neutral site games. Next year he's actually going on the road. Believe it when I see it.

I don’t think they are great. I am basing my opinion on how unprepared we have looked in season openers under BK. Also those were neutral field games. It will be a very tough environment on the road at their place ( think Florida and A&M this year).

It's not about any of that.

When is the last time LSU won an opening game?

This doesn't include USC.

That's 5 straight opening losses. And the last opening win was Georgia Southern in 2019. I would much rather open with a team like that. I don't know why LSU puts themselves at such a disadvantage. It's one thing to schedule quality opponents, but you don't need to do it game one. You can greatly improve from the first game.

You already play in the SEC. The fewer the loss the more likely you are making a playoff now.

If someone out there is that good at prophecy, knowing the outcome of a football game on Aug. 30, 2025. Please help me know the winning lottery ticket numbers for the next power ball over 100 million. I will give you a percentage of my winnings of course.

Maybe we should schedule more first-game opponents like Georgia Southern, Furman or Arkansas Pine Bluff, and fewer Clemson, USC and Florida State.

I'm at the point I might just blind bet week 1 against LSU as long as Kelly is the coach.

But you're more than welcome to bet that we're going to go into Clemson week 1 and best a playoff team next year lol. You can also set the money on fire and use it for warmth

Many BK worshippers don’t want to see facts like this. USC did nothing all year (except beat LSU).

Brian Kelly’s opening game history at LSU in three (3) seasons, loss of key players on both sides of the line, lack of certainty at QB position, etc.

It sucks, but it is so unnecessary to put such a challenge on your team week one.

I am so tired of losing to start the season. It puts such a damper on the season.

Of course it would be nice to win such a game, but it is no longer necessary to schedule these big matchups week one. The positive does not outweigh the potential negative here.

In 2020 when anyone suggested LSU could lose the opening game people asked "When was the last time LSU lost an opening game?" Every season starts anew. Let's just wait and see what happens.

I’m not convinced we win bc BK does not seem to be able to get a team ready to play for week 1.

We'll beat their arse in the fake valley. And the next year we'll introduce them to the real Valley of Death.
