Well at least we will likely not be favorites in the 2025 opener, like we were against Mississipp State (10.5); UCLA (1.5); Florida State (3.5); Florida State (2); and USC (4.5), despite losing by a combined 50 points or 10 points per opening loss.

Who knows?? It's a long time until September and a lot of things will change between now and then.
We're not great in opening games under BK, so there is that history.

Maybe when BK goes into the season with an experienced team not
a mixmatch of starters the last 3 years he will have the upperhand.1st
year a team thrown together with transfers true freshman starting no
continuity whatsoever but you expected them to come out and look like
a championship team.Good luck with that.2nd year lose a ton of players
on
Defense still lacking depth every where on the team but should have been a contender.3rd year new QB ,RB ,Recievers no real DLmen to talk
about lack of depth in secondary but we should be a contender.
there is only 1 coach who probably done better than 29 wins his 1st 3
seasons ,NS, your other choices for HC ,LR,LK,BN etc wound not have done better.Of coarse you wouldn`t agree with that.

Unless Kelly knocks it out of the park in the portal and we get a superstar QB assuming that Nuss is gone, then this team is cooked for next year.

Kelly approaches the game as a way to get ready for the season, and get players comfortable.
Our opponents view LSU as a "name win", and gameplan specifically for us for quite a while. We're not doing that, we're trying to get ready for SEC play.
We need to either change that mindset, or get out of these games. Clemson might skullfrick us to prove "they're back". They may spend half the spring and summer working on just us.
