This shooter will be America’s next D.B. Cooper.

A folk hero who committed a crime and disappeared.
Except that the smiling dude will do it when there are cameras on every building in America, and every American has a camera in their pocket at all times.
ETA: I don’t think the guy deserves folk hero status. He’s a cold blooded murderer. But there are a lot of folks out there in the twitterverse who are already turning him into some sort of masked avenger. If he eludes capture, this will stick.

I would be more likely to cheer for him as a folk hero if he hadn’t actually killed a guy. DB Cooper didn’t kill anyone.
