on season ticket holders to make us competitive with most schools to get the best players? That would generate a pile of money.

Do you have season tickets? If so just donate money on your own. If not, mind your business.

Agree with this post. I buy the season tix I want. I pay huge amounts in TAF fees. Maybe give some of the $10M you get every year CBK. Also, when you have two weeks to prepare for a team, don't put sh*t out on the field.

Its wayyyy more logical to charge to every ticket purchaser BESIDES season ticket holders for something like this
Take a cut from the scalpers, ticket sites and traveling fans from other schools

Then no more national championships

What a stupid thing to say. You think season ticket holders not wanting to pay your dumbass surcharge is costing us national championships? You truly are an idiot.

LSU is the biggest scalper out there.
Compare the printed face value on a season ticket to the cost of a single ticket when tickets go on sale to general public.
How they determine what ticket prices should be is a game.

NIL has changed so much. Originally, I thought NIL was to compensate players when their names were sold on jerseys or used in video games, etc. which I thought was great. Now you want to give 2 million dollars to a kid who has played 11 games and never done anything and may be a bust in college? This is totally off the rails. Noooope

It was never going to stay on the rails.

It was never going to stop there, and its hard to believe people thought that it would. It was a terrible idea from the start.

As a season ticket holder for 10+ years, I have no problem with this. I'm already paying thousands, what's another couple hundred every year to go towards NIL to put a better product on the field. Of course I wouldn't mind if they just siphoned off some of the Tradition Fund to NIL, which is where I really think this is going.

At $10 to everyone who enter the stadium

How about QR codes for donating in strategic places in Tiger Stadium, PMAC, The Box, etc. This is where you’ll find the die hard fans. Make it SIMPLE and EASY.

Tennessee is doing it. Alabama and Texas to follow

Oh well, there’s more to life than just seeing your favorite college team win a championship. I pull for them, support them and like to see them win but I’m not giving money to teenagers in hopes of a championship.

Just let people donate voluntarily if they want to NIL. I don't want anymore fees added to my season tickets.

Yep. Someone from the ticket office called me last week asking if I wanted to buy some tickets they had available for the OK game. They were selling endzone seats for something like $225 each. The face value is $100 and tix were selling on Seat Geek for less than that at the time.
