Confused because he’s not even using a firearm.

A white man with a bow and arrow is a huge threat to democracy man.
Jesus get with the program!

I can completely identify with his feelings about his dad. Lost mine nearly 5 years ago, and I miss him every day. Too many times I wanted to pick up the phone and give him a call and had to remind myself that it's just not possible any more. Spent many hours together on the golf course, watching football games and just telling jokes.

Well, Ben's right arm is a gun.

Are you saying he keeps his compound bow locked and loaded for home protection?
If it makes you feel better, here is another LSU "baw" who feels the very same way. You might assume he did it with his bare hands!!

That is a great story. My dad died in '99 and my Mom passed in 2004.
I can't begin to tell you how many times I had experiences like he did, when there was a activity or event we loved together, something would happen that let me know that they were still at my side.
Losing your parents is horrible, not like losing a child, but when they pass, the feeling of security is gone.
RIP Mom and Dad.

One of the most down to earth people I’ve ever met. Spent a lot of times in his barn/training facility with my son taking pitching lessons. Definitely a man’s man.

That's actually a very cool story, bro.
And that is a once-in-a-lifetime deer. Congrats, Ben!
He's also the best LSU baseball broadcaster

We need sensible bow control now!

I don’t know. Looks like an assault bow to me.

I know exactly what you mean since there is not a gun shown in the pic below. I do apologize for assuming he used a gun. The fella could have used a 2 iron or bare hands. After all, there is no visible blood on the animal.
Please accept my apology for assuming the "hunters" own guns and are happy as a result.

That's a good story and a very impressive buck. Good mass and spread on the rack.
