I have no idea how old this is but I had never seen it before.
The premise is The Sopranos comes to network television in syndication but has to be edited for language and content

That editing is like watching Casino on an Airplane in the 90s.

The guy doing Tony was right on the mark.
That was like watching "Blazing Saddles" on some cable channels where it is heavily edited to eliminate a few words out of the original running.

I think that’s Will Sasso but the quality of the video sucks. Looked like some of the real sopranos cast at the end at the table but couldn’t tell that either from my phone.

Yeah, the guy that played "Big Pussy" was in that-----or he has a doppelganger out there.
Tony Sirico, who played Paulie Walnuts died in 2022, but who knows how old that video is.

MadTV was so good.

No it wasn't. It was Joey fuking Diaz.
Also, Will Sasso is maybe the most underutilized comedic talent in recent Hollywood history. That's the best Tony Soprano impression you will ever see. It's literally a exact clone of Gandolfini in that role.
He also has best Jessie Ventura impression there is. It's uncanny.
MadTV had insane amounts of talent in early-mid years. It just didn't have the production value and history that SNL did. SNL also had more complex humor, but MadTV may have had them beat on sheer comedic talent at that time.
Sasso
Artie Lange
Bryan Callen
Bobby Lee
Aires Spears
Debra Wilson
Orlando Jones
Frank Caliendo
They were loaded but much more crude then the uppity, mainstream SNL types of that era.
Ferrell
Chris Kattan
Cheri Oteri
Tim Meadows
Jimmy Fallon
Maya Rudolph

I'd say that Mad TV was more absurdist, and SNL was more traditional. I loved it as a kid. Cracked me up.

No doubt. Their parodies of Whitney Houston and Connie Chung crack me up no matter how many times I see them.

Gotta add Michael McDonald, Nicole Sullivan, Phil Lamar, Alex Borstein, and Mo Collins to that list. Each had some very memorable characters.

I always thought Nicole Sullivan was hot. She was great on King of Queens too.
