They did the big video board, LED lights, and new sound system.

What other planned upgrades were ever mentioned?

The ONLY upgrade I care about these days is wifi.

I do my eating at tailgate, so I don’t give a frick about concessions.

I can piss in a trough, don’t care.

I don’t need wider seats with a back other than a typical seat back.

The video boards are big enough and sound system is fine.

I didn’t need some LED light show, but I guess we have it now.

Fix the wifi and don’t worry about anything else.

I don’t know of any planned capital improvement project for Tiger Stadium. I recall they said they were done after the south end zone expansion. I think arena will be next in line for improvement or new build.

That said, yes money that was once donated to TAF is now being donated to NIL and that’s not just something unique to LSU— That’s happening at all programs.

People worried about NIL, though, should just look at our facilities. LSU has always been at the top of the college football arm race. Nothing has changed with NIL, only where the money is going.

Yeah the sound is and has always been inexcusably terrible.

We had LED lights, drone shows, and an upgraded scoreboard this season.

So no…it did not.

The light show for Ole Miss was fantastic. Since then, it's been very meh.

The drone show was only for one game as well, and honestly, I don't know how much of an upgrade the new video board is, because the full board is seldom used.

I'd say cellphone signal boosters as well.

They put out a big survey a few years ago about rebuilding the lower bowl. That’s a capital project….

Whatever capital projects LSU has planned, just realize they’re going to be worse than expected. This was the case even before NIL.

Walking into the game Saturday, the new scoreboard was rattling like after market speakers in a Nissan trunk.

I’ll get downvoted to hell but the stadium needs some work. LSU has always failed when it came to facilities projects because leadership never had the foresight to look to the future.

This is the reason why every side of the stadium looks different than the rest. There is so much space that is going unused throughout the venue. The lower bowl also needs to be reimagined. There is no symmetry or flow to the building. Bathrooms and concessions need to be upgraded.

Penn State is about to do a $700m renovation over three years and paying for it mostly through bonds, concessions and naming opportunities. LSU would rather do 15 projects over 25 years instead of fixing it all at once.

Since the players now share the revenues, I think we should get them to pay for their share of any capital improvements.
Fair is fair.
