The biggest commonality between Joe and Jayden is they had two elite wr.

Justin
Jamaar

Malik
Brian

I think Anderson can be one. LSU has to make find that 2nd one in the transfer portal. It is priority 1.

Safety is priority 1, but a day one starter WR that can stretch the field would be up there.

We have several guys on the team that have the ability to become elite. None of those guys you mentioned were elite in their first year, they were elite in their last year.

I think WR is a necessity, because everyone is forgetting about Kyle Parker. I also am still holding out hope that Daniels doesn't leave. I think he's probably trying to see if he can get more money. We really only need one if he leaves, even then, we should be able to roll with who we have.

Malik was very very good from day one but you have to get atleast one elite wr with Daniels hitting the portal we can’t bank on Shelton potential but ppl also forget Parker was a starter to begin the season

Assuming he stays, that guy is already on our team.

Dane Key from Kentucky is in the portal. I would also look for Barion Brown to get in as well.

Malik was a 1,000 yd receiver as a sophomore
Jamaar’s last year was his soph year cuz he sat out

Shelton prolly isn’t it. Kyle might be good but we don’t know. Everyone else didn’t get snaps.

If there’s a can’t miss deep threat in the portal we need to pair him with nuss

You mean Jamarr, Justin, and Terrace?

Terrace Marshal was pretty damn good and was an important part of the 2019 national championship team. He was a monster that year.

People often completely forget about him. It’s probably because he’s overshadowed by Jamarr and Justin and also because he opted out in the middle of the 2020 season.

If there was an underclassman that is elite, he would have seen several snaps a game on the field this year. With at least a few targets.

Maybe Green can be that #1 receiver next year

Regardless of who we have in the WR room, if Nuss stays we need a summer of 10,000 catches.

Having a QB and WR on the same page can elevate both positions.

It’s LSU. One or 2 will emerge. I think Pimpton and Green are set up to have big years. If Anderson comes back I think he takes the superstar step a Parker looked great the few games he Played. If we can get OK game Hilton back we’ll be fine.

All of those guys were from Louisiana and only one of them was a 5 star IIRC. Francis could be that guy but we need some of the older guys to step up and get separation like Hilton did on that last TD.

Still need a WR1 from the portal. Proven production. Anderson, Hilton, Zavion, and Parker can all give you production, but none of them are alpha WR1 types. Lacy had the personality of one but never lived up to the hype.

It nobody's fault but the staff. You can't expect guys to develop sitting on the bench. There's no reason why highly touted guys like Spears and Kylin Jackson shouldn't be prepared to play significant roles going in the year 2 and year 3.

Perhaps, but with some stud RB's coming in, let's develop an oline that run blocks so that we have a top notch running game!
