I don't know if I am supposed to be melting over this recruiting class or not. Yesterday, the sky was falling and today, i sense some optimism amongst some.... some

Today was a great day for LSU. Awesome recruiting class.

You can't use tRant as a barometer for how things are going; it's an echo chamber of trolls and idiots.

It went from our best class ever to an overall great class. Not worth melting over. We have some studs in this class.

Why melt? Welcome the new boys! They chose to be here! It’s a good dam class!

Lots of respect for the kids who chose LSU. Now, LSU and the fans have to support them!

I will never understand how people come to this board and ask how they should feel. Are you that weak that you can’t make up your own mind?

I wish underwood had stuck. But the two others don’t bother me, adding Thomas was awesome.

Damn good OL haul in this class. Didn’t get a QB, but hopefully the portal can produce a QB and just about every position on defense.

I tried to give some bugger my best advice yesterday but his thread got deleted. I said to wait until you know things for sure before you let it negatively affect you. It saves you a lot of grief in life. Now here we are.

Losing Underwood and Phillips is disappointing, but this class looks really good with players that should be immediate contributors. We got 3 OL that should at least compete for playing time, DL players that likely give us rotation and depth, a lockdown CB and more stud LBs.

Portal (my wish list):
-Safety
-WR (I like Francis, but a top WR would be nice if available)
-QB - need someone that can compete with Nuss even if he stays and is the starter
-Blocking TE
-DE or DT if a really good one comes available

Need a Center who can handle the highest level of defense off the portal.

I don’t keep up much anymore, but looking at overall rankings, LSU is right in the mix. Not a ton of separation in the entire top 10. The top is not as top heavy as it had begun to get. Most of the players don’t even stick around anymore so the value of recruiting rankings is greatly diminished

Coach them up and be diligent in the portal, end of the day you got to win the games.

Melt. Not even close. Don't ruin rant tradition.
