I did not see the injury, but I watched the whole second half. The injury must have been early.

CMM said it was a knee sprain that was going to get evaluate today. I am not sure if that is good news or bad but it feels a little more optimistic

If it's only a knee sprain then that's huge for us! Best case scenario

For real, the situation looked worse than a sprain.

That's awesome, I say give him the majority of non conf and we'll be good for SEC play

These guards have me excited

Good news if true. Didn't look like the fall was anything serious which made it terrifying that he couldn't put any weight on it. The injuries that look benign seem like they are always the worst.

I agree. We should have Boyde cleared to play in a week or so.

From the sounds of it yesterday, the rant was making it seem like his leg was going to be amputated and career over.

It was a non-contact injury and he immediately grabbed his knee when he went down. After being helped to his feet, he tried to walk to the bench under (mostly) his own power. After a few steps he couldn't put any weight on his leg. He was helped directly to the locker and never returned to the bench at any point for the remainder of the game.

That doesn't conclusively mean it is a significant/season ending injury. But in observing the injury/aftermath the was reason for concern of a serious injury.
