Yeah. They’re the highest ranked 3-loss team of course, and they’re ranked ahead of 2-loss Miami even though two of their 3 losses are really bad losses (especially the 24-3 loss to Oklahoma).

Ridiculous and inexcusable. I hate the CFP committee.

I don't think Bama should be in the playoffs, you can't lose to two 6-6 teams, one at home. I firmly believe that SC should be in over them, even though bama lucked out and beat SC at Bama, late, by 2 points. SC lost a close one to Bama, a close one to us, and had a bad loss to OM when they had some huge turnovers early and never recovered.

However, to say Miami should be in there is a joke. They did not play a game against a top 25 team all year, and actually were gifted another game by the Refs, I think it was NC State, but can't remember. Miami is trash.

As much as I hate it, it’s a business & Alabama will bring a larger crowd & more revenue. You have to think that is playing into the decision to an extent

Some Alabama fans are even saying that. They are admitting that they are DEI (Didn’t Earn It).

I won't be watching the CFP. All fans of the game of football need to do the same. Help drop the ratings!

I certainly didn’t watch the Gump game last year after they screwed FSU out of the playoff, and I encouraged others to not do so.

they have 3 losses, two of them to .500 teams in which the Vandy loss when they were ranked #1 and allowed 40 pts and to OU which held them to only 3 points while allowing 24 points, it was an arse whipping...

Their only "good" loss was to ranked Tennessee...

If this were any other team they wouldn't even be close to sniffing the playoffs...

The bama bias is still real. Objectively, Ole Miss and South Carolina are probably better teams than bama right now. Had we not shite the bed against them, all of this could be a moot point.

Your strategy seems to have paid off. Bama is back in and even more undeserving than last year. What’s your plan going forward?

There is still a chance they don't make it. If Clemson just barely beats SMU, both of them are in and Bama is out. SMU is ranked 6th and I don't think they will punish them for losing a close conference championship game. If they do, why would anybody want to play for a conference title anymore?

They will absolutely punish a Tier 2 team for losing a game Bama wasn't good enough to play in.

I love being right.

They should still be ranked ahead of Miami, Miami has been too high all along. I think that based on the seasopn's progression, it should probably be USCe or Ole Miss before Bama. Of those three, USCe closed out the season best, IMO.

Not only that, but gave them the 11th seed playing Notre Dame then SMU.

The 10 seed has to play Georgia then Texas.

Also, the Iowa State and Arizona State winner gets an auto qualifier bid I believe? As neither are in the top 12, Miami will get bumped from 12 to give them a spot most likely. If Clemson wins and SMU doesn’t fall out, then Bama at 11 would be gone also. Of course, they might move Bama up in the rankings even though they’re sitting home this weekend.

I want Clemson to barely beat SMU so the committee can try and put Bama in with a straight face after saying conference championship losers wouldn't be punished in favor of teams sitting at home.

Remember undefeated FSU lost by 60 last year to Georgia, the SEC runner-up. Bama had one loss but brought the national champions to overtime last year.

Same convo between an awful 2-loss Miami team and 3-loss Bama team this year. Miami shouldn’t have blown a 3 TD lead against Syracuse this weekend if they wanted to be in the playoff. ACC is absolute trash just like the Big 12 and champion Iowa St/Arizona St.

I was hoping USCe would be in over Bama though and felt they had an argument. If Sellers didn’t go out of that LSU game then they would have only 2 losses to Bama’s 3. What is Bama’s excuse for losing to the multiple 6-6 teams they lost to?
