If we're judging coaches by year 3, I'm sold on CMM

Has LSU built from a solid foundation. SEC play can't come fast enough.

He's definitely stepped his game up this season.

Talk about walking in to a complete dumpster fire. The one he inherited was waaaaay worse than the one Brian Kelly did. He has recruited well.

Tiger fan here in Nashville and watched CMM torch the OVC for years. He’s legit and will win at LSU. He’s a very good coach and even better dude. I expect him to build a great LSU BB program.

He definitely turned it around! We need to get behind this team.

First year, i thought he was in over his head. But every year hes improved. Weve never had this many guards. Reed goes out tonight and miller, chest, collins, fountain played well against a scrappy fsu team, second tallest in the nation.

SEC dominated the ACC in the challenge tonight. Where does LSU get seeded if they go 20-11 (8-10)? Deserve a seed considering how tough the SEC is

No it certainly wasn’t. There are still remnants of Wade on this team ie Fountain. MBB is not football.
There were complete roster overhauls year to year as a normal situation. Look no further than KState or UK and Cal winning titles without great guard all freshman. If you talk about restrictions in not playing in the tournament 1 year, ok. But recruiting and portal is not the same for MBB year in year.
1 and done is not abnormal.

I appreciate the enthusiasm but let’s enjoy the upcoming SEC season and see how things go. It certainly appears that we will have the opportunity to be in the discussion in March, but it’s a little premature to be talking seeding.

Below .500 in league in year 3 would be disappointing. Hopefully that’s not the case.

Not trying to shite on McMahon, but it's much easier to rebuild a decimated basketball roster than a football one
