Boise State coach Spencer Danielson: Several Broncos ‘are getting illegally recruited’

That’s happening right now as we’re winning games and as we’re successful.”

Twelve months ago, Danielson famously convinced Ashton Jeanty to stay at Boise State over chasing a big NIL payout. The gamble paid off for Jeanty, who is now a Heisman Trophy contender with 2,288 rushing yards and 28 touchdowns this season.

There's no such thing as "illegal recruiting" anymore. There are no standards, no guidelines and no ramifications for anything that schools are doing with recruiting and NIL. It's the wild west, embrace it or demand a change.

Name them then. Publicly shame the schools and coaches involved in it and see if the NCAA has the balls to enforce tampering rules against a big program

He won’t because he has aspirations of higher jobs and will be blackballed from big schools and the coaching fraternity by naming names.
