It was a fedsurrection. The FBI led it. Their resources were a few Capitol Hill police, several confidential informants like Ray Epps to play the role of provocateurs and Antifa actors to play MAGA supporters. Then they roped in and provoked a bunch of unwitting MAGA supporters.

Ray Epps is the "in your face" person used by the Feds to prove they can do whatever they want when they want. His actions were far worse than anyone currently held illegally for J6 activity.

Then Trump invited his followers there to fall for it. Trump needs to answer for that at some point as well.

The intentional use of pepper spray on an unprovoked crowd by the Feds & capital police were the major trigger to cause the chaos that erupted. You have people sitting in jail who were incited by our own government to react violently. Government officials should be in prison for this.

The evidence is strong that this is true. However, I don’t think Kash is on sound ground when he says they had to be planning for J6 for a year. Those agents, like Epps, could have been hired, vetted, etc, to infiltrate groups which just happened to be involved with J6. He still lied about not having advanced notice, but the advanced notice would have been days or weeks, not a year.
Anyway, we know it’s bullshite because what kind of stupid motherfrickers would try to have an insurrection to topple the government without any weapons? It clearly was not an insurrection. It was an ugly riot, and the J6ers in prison should have been in jail overnight, not convicted and sentenced. And not even all of them. Some just wandered into an open Congressional building past police who were waving them in. They did nothing that justifies arrest, much less conviction.

the FBI planning J6 for a year ahead was probably several plans. Trump calling people to another rally had them revise the plan. it was always to frame Trump somehow someway-duh.
I don't think Trump saw how deep or how far they would go.
Wray, Monoco, Garland called a presser weeks after assassination of Trump number 2 and only said, muh Russia is targeting the USA election.
