Would you feel safer if a local airport was in charge of security?
How would you feel if Teedy and her appointees were in charge of security at MSY?

My issue is they don't profile. I've seen them make geriatric crackers take off their shoes. They had trouble sitting and bending to take them off.

Profiling should 100% be a thing.
And also you need to have all men on deck at open on a holiday weekend. Not at 5:00an when everybody has already been in line an hour because you make us get here 2 hrs early

It's all theater, all of it. There's virtually zero improvements in security as a result of the TSA. You could swap out just about any TSA crew with a local McDonalds shift and there would be zero difference in risk.

It is pretty stupid. Watching young foreign men with no ID walk through the checkpoint while shaking down an 80 year old granny just because they don't want to be accused of racial profiling is ridiculous.

When citizens have to stand in line, show approved ID, and actually pay for their flight out of their own wallet and illegals don’t have to is such a slap in the face.
How can these actions not be illegal? Hopefully the people who established this policy (flying illegals around for free without any id) get charged, tried and sent to jail.
It is of the utmost importance for all these people who broke the law go to jail. It is the only way to take back control of our government.

Regardless who does it, the people at the top will make the money while the main line TSA employees or contractor employees make chump change.

It's not working. Make public hanging the punishment for carrying a bomb on a plane and it would go to zero. Just scan people walking through for metal. If you carry a gun like a Glock that doesn't show it's automatic 10 years in prison.

Prior to Helene, I would have agreed that they need to be dismantled. They screwed some serious stuff up in NC, but here in the Augusta area they’ve helped by funding debris pickup for 90 days and some other assistance that hasn’t made headlines. Of course, these are all contractors doing the work.
They’re poorly managed and probably bloated. They’ve helped in some ways where state and local governments would have been overwhelmed.
I’d like to see DOGE’s recommendation and will likely go along with it.
