Imagine the melt on here when Trump increases aid to Ukraine in order to bring Putin to the table to accomplish that cease fire.

The narrative has already started- any sort of cease fire will be reported as a historic surrender to Russia's dictatorship and will show the world that America is no longer strong because Trump is orange, and also bad.

I wouldn’t be shocked by this - Trump wouldn’t negotiate with a weak hand. If it accomplishes the goal of ending the conflict I’m good with it.

Both Putin and Zelensky have recently expressed a desire to reach some type of settlement to the hostilities. This a very dangerous time as a mutually agreed upon peace is the last thing the Deep State wants.

From what Ive read. Trump has already talked to Zelensky. Ukraine will give up the land already taken by Russia. Ukraine won't be a member of NATO but will be protected under the umbrella of NATO. If Russia attacks Ukraine again it will be if he has attacked NATO. The land taken from Ukraine will be Russias new buffer zone.

I really believe that Trump is going to wipe Hamas off the face of the earth after they just taunted him with an American hostage. *It could have been Hezbollah. What I am saying is that there will still need plenty of weapons for the IWC to manufacture.

I don’t think a ceasefire will cause the huge melts but the peace deal will.
My SIL is a leftie, and we had the Ukraine discussion a few months ago. He thought it was unconscionable that we would consider deescalation there, and he kept saying, “Russia should not be allowed to profit by invading her neighbor.” I kept pointing out that Ukraine is out of men, and the only way to continue this war is to start supplying men. I asked what his solution was: supply them with Puerto Ricans? Send US troops to go to war with nuclear Russia? Or was he going to grab a rifle? Needless to say, he wasn’t in favor of any of those solutions.

I can see us giving them some money to “help rebuild” in order to get the deal done. No new nato membership and Ukraine gives up land.
I don’t like giving them more money but I think that’s going to happen. Hopefully Russia also has to pay them money to offset some on our end.
