He does, in fact, exist and is popular among the sort of people who enjoyed bro country 10 years ago.

Will the country music gatekeepers like him? No.

Is he the worst thing on country radio? No.

There are people on country radio who he is better than. If you truly don’t believe this, you’re kidding yourself.

Great Album title: " I'm Not As Crappy As Some Other People!"

Thanks for the heads up.

Glad I no longer listen to it.

like most pop music today, none of this story seems genuine at all

he grew up in Virginia to Nigerian parents
he has been in popular music since 2016 as a rapper
he took the J’kwon song Tipsy and made a country song out of it
the guitar intro is a sneaky rework of Oasis Wonderwall
he uses so much bad autotune it is practically a robot voice

Chord progressions are hard to switch up much. Get real.

Yeah I’m serious. Strum pattern and chord progressions can only change so much.

That’s quite the endorsement.

You willingly listen to the lowest common denominator?

I just looked him up on YouTube. He has zero talent.

Same auto tuned vocals in every song. It sounds robotic.

Almost the same two chord acoustic strumming as well.

Awful

It's pop. If you're going to be triggered by every pop music hit, it's going to be a long haul for you.

No, I'm "triggered" by talentless performers.

I happen to like a lot of pop.

I mean, it's a dude singing a meaningless ditty. Just not sure where the butthurt is coming from. You're certainly not required to like every song that's ever put out, but this seems like a truly unremarkable example to be in a twist over.

You seem to be hell bent on labeling someone "triggered", "butthurt" or "in a twist over" because I pointed out the fact that he's obviously a no talent.

I don't care. I noticed him because they trotted him out during a football game I was watching.

It was so bad, that I initially thought it was a parody .

If you like him, you like him.
