Saban and all those other coaches do like 60-90 minutes per week and are talking about their own teams and upcoming opponents, i.e. subjects that they'll naturally have immense knowledge of while needing to do very little prep work.

According to my quick google search, Gottlieb does a one hour daily podcast and a two hour daily radio show which I assume covers a wide range of sports topics that he will have to be at the very least conversationally knowledgeable about.

Doing 1.5 hours per week on a singular subject you're already fully immersed in his way different than doing 15 hours per week on potentially every big sports story under the sun.

My first thought when I saw he had a podcast too was, "who tf is clamoring for three hours of Doug Gottlieb content a day?"
