Supposedly McVay wanted to trade Stafford for Darnold. I bet he would take Jones on the cheap and keep Stafford for another year in a heartbeat

If we were smart, we wouldn’t have extended Carr and would instead be giving a reclamation project like Jones or Bryce Young a shot with a cheap price tag while we get our finances in order and stockpile talent.

It was not an extension, it was a restructure. And given our cap situation, a restructure was inevitable. Even after trading Latt, they still only have $4M in cap space this year, there was no way around it.

Oh I watched almost every game. Big Tyrone Tracy guy over here. Winning a road playoff game with Isaiah Hodgins and Darius Slayton as your top guys earns respect from me. Dealt with a tough neck injury and a torn acl last season, was poor this season but was shaking off the rust. On the right team, this guy will be a winner.

Saints fans are some of the dumbest fans in the league. I was talking to a fan from NO the other day who said “I want a black coach”, so I asked him what his reasoning was…….and he naturally called me a racist for asking because the Saints have never hired a black coach.
Trying to get him to understand that the color of his skin shouldn’t even be considered either way (that it should only matter if he is qualified) only enraged him further. I have been a Saints fan my entire life (43 yrs old), and the older I get the less I understand this fanbase
