Any Other QBs on the table?

Is there any other QB that we can flip to LSU?

Not this late in the game. Gonna have to focus on finding one in portal or next year. Usually top rated qbs out of hs are locked in for the most part after their junior seasons. As the top ones commit the rest fall in line relative to what spots are left. Its rare you see a qb flip and then another flips to the school that lost the flip.

Should we send Eli Holstein a “you up?” text

Nuss is the guy for next year. Time to get behind him and root for him to continue improving.
Hopefully we can get a Real OC that understands how to scheme.

2027 is a long ways away. You can’t go two years without a QB. We can’t wait on any of the 2027 guys.
I heard Bama might want Holstein back.

I wish we could flip Julien Lewis. When he reclassified, I thought he might catch Bryce in the rankings. He just decommitted from USC and committed to Colorado. He's pretty elite IMO.
You would think that a guy from the south would be easily flipped from Colorado with or without Dieon, especially if we threw something close to Bryce's NIL deal at him.

Time to fire up the Deion to the Cowboys rumor.

I think they will get Nuss to come back, and hope Hurley develops. BU’s NIL funds can go to other positions that we need.

There are silver linings to this. BK can get an experienced OC now if he wants. The Underwood money cango to other areas of need. And if Nuss was to come back with a better Oline and some new stud receivers he could still be successful and give Collins and Hurley time to develop. Ithink the defense will be even better next year with a full offseason for Baker. Especially if they can pick up a few quality transfers to plug some of the holes . It's not all gloom and doom.

This isn't a good idea. You've got to go hunting in the portal. I'd rather a qb that struggles to make good plays than one that has a proven history if losing games due to bad decisions

I’d go after Devon Dampier out of New Mexico. Sophomore and has 2500+ passing yards with 1100 rushing yards this season. He’s another Kyler Murray.

The flip is proof that money talks. Will Kelly pay what it takes this late in the game? Probably not.

If he can’t run in the open field when given the opportunity, we don’t need him back.
Your college QB has to be mobile to win consistently
