We got played and it could've been anyone. He always wanted to go to Michigan. He knew they would pay him big money. They did and now he's going where he always intended on going. This will be the new trend. Welcome to the new "amateur" football.

Maybe if we didn’t lose three in a row in embarrassing fashion

Those of you thinking LSU had a legit shot at him are on the copium my guy. Take the purple and gold blinders off. You think someone who was supposedly so committed just 2 days ago, suddenly changed his mind because of 3 straight losses?

Dylan was worse since he was right on our campus. And he went to Bama, a team we play annually.

This has been in the works far longer than the losing streak. The collapse of BK was just the cherry on top.

Maybe if we found another 5 million dollars to give him.

Irrelevant. LSU is 6-4, UM is 5-5. It is and always was about the $.

The team he flipped to is 5-5 and have lost 4 of their last 5 games, their lone win being against 4-6 Michigan St

This was always about money, period

Probably so which proves that Underwood is about getting paid. He knows he's going to the league. Why wouldn't he get an extra $10.5M before he gets there? You think he cares about wins or losses?

Of course he cares. Bu there is damn little difference, from a college football perspective, between LSU and Michigan. Both are struggling and the chances he plays all three years under the same coordinator/regime at either place is zero. He has every bit the chance to win at Michigan than LSU.

To your point that he was never coming to LSU, I don't believe that is accurate. There was a number that Michigan NIL people threw out that triggered his decision. Was it higher, lower, the same as LSU? It is all speculation as its a private contract between two parties and will never be made public. Bottom line, he was coming here until he was financially convinced otherwise.

Michigan is 5-5 and they’ve thrown for over 150 yards once. It’s not like they’re rolling. They were lucky to have a ton of older player and cheating last season that led to a championship. Now they’re back to Michigan. This was all about money and nothing else.

Michigan has a worse record than LSU and plays in a weaker conference. But 10 million is hard to turn down.

The bama loss shook confidence in Kelly to the core.

He was absolutely coming to LSU. Michigan kept upping the offer until he said yes. It’s that simple.
