Nielsen data show that less than an hour after they gave their rationale for the trip, viewers were changing the channel and clicking away from MSNBC, according to Mediaite.

In the 25-54 age demographic that is most coveted by advertisers, viewership dropped 38% — from 113,000 people to 70,000.
In the 8 a.m.-to-9 a.m. hour, the audience picked up somewhat as viewership hit 775,000 people.
But ratings dropped in the 9 a.m.-to-10 a.m. hour as the audience shrank to 770,000 viewers.

I turned them on for a few minutes this morning. They had on lawyers talking about ALL of the charges against Trump and full on orange man bad. Trying SO HARD to say convicted felon.
Kimmell makes his entire monologue Trump. It is too much and disgusting. I hope they all tank and take The View with them.
Even The Talk is sickening and unwatchable.

Every show on Cable receives shared revenue from every other show on Cable as part of the contracts
Therefore your most effective way of punishing these "networks" is to cancel your cable subscription if you still have one

Rachel Maddow: Trump is objectively bad for ratings. We would have thought, what with his "mandate" and all, that he'd be good for ratings. See, people really DON'T want him as President. This election was clearly more about sexism and racism and not voting for a woman of color than it was voting for Donald Trump, the convicted rapist, election denier, classified documents thief and insurrectionist. And we here at the Rachel Maddow report will be here every night to bring sanity to the insanity that is Donald Trump.

They are done. There are dozens of podcasters with more listeners in that demographic, not even counting the big fish like Rogan, Tucker, etc. Why on earth would advertisers pay for so little reach?

I get trying to appear unbiased by meeting with Trump but can you really do that after calling the guy Hilter, claiming Biden is better than ever?

Does anyone have a link to the long term ratings of the 'news' shows? Seems a lot of these numbers are relative to before the election, and I'm sure all of them saw a boost from the pre-election coverage. So are they down from a year ago, or just from recent numbers?
It's sad that these shows have any viewers. they spew garbage.
