The knock on Les was he hit too much in practice. Players got worn out by the end of the year. Orgeron was supposed to have changed that up. He went easier on the players during the week. I guess a balance is hard to find for coaches.

This year’s team would need a restraining order to stop the 2011 LSU football team. Any one of Miles’ teams would have bludgeoned this powderpuff team we have today.

Ask the 2011 Defense how physical the offense was. Ask Mett’s Knee. Ask Fournette’s heisman hopes.

We have had some really good OL but rarely really good OL. Not in a long time. Usually needs. a QB who can make magic happen.

I mean rantards cried cause Les was too hard on them in practice.

Also, do we know for sure there aren't any drills like this going on???

Strength and conditioning don’t create the attitude to attack the other team.

That free blitzer in the bama game that caused the fumble would have been destroyed by Les’ O line.

Can't preach being physical. It has to be embedded into players.

There has to be balance. Do none of it all & risk having a soft team. Over do it & you wear down the players. Fall camp & during specific times in a season preferably after a bye week are good times to use such drills.

You can tell the players who love the contact. They are the most vocal & the more physical ones in the drill.
