Me: I have a headache.
Her: take a Tylenol
Me: I can't
Her: why not?
Me: some studies have shown NSAIDS interfere with muscle adaptation to training
Her: you're crazy

I used to think the same thing. However, your body already had elevates levels of inflammation from the strength training. To add a headache to that, your body has even higher levels.
Additionally, the literature which claims nsaids reduce MPS were at levels of 1200mg and above - well above the recommended over the counter dosage.
Taking a couple tylenol, advil, etc isn't going to reduce all the needed inflammation in your body for muscle growth and kill your gains.
So bottom line: go ahead, pop those tylenol; you'll be fine.

Tylenol is not an NSAID and is one of the safest drugs you can take within the proper dosage range. There’s virtually no systemic side effects from Tylenol vs NSAIDS. Just gotta not take too much or it can impact your liver.

Hey did you drink enough water

This is valid. Instead of Tylenol, drink some salt water, eat a banana and take some magnesium.

I haven’t used an advil etc in 3 years. Use sodium/chloride, potassium, and magnesium for headaches. It works.

I’m moving this thread into a general bitching about commercial gym goings on. Small guy criticizing his much better looking girlfriend on her form. You’re an idiot and you’re doing slams all wrong. Plyo push-up brag? GFYS

You just need a stronger pre-workout.
