Unlike Les, Kelly isn’t afraid to make changes and adjustments.
After Notre Dame went 4-8 in the 2016 season they went on to go 54-9 under Kelly in the next five seasons
I know it’s different times, but he has been successful everywhere he’s been for a reason. He will be just fine and we will be in playoffs consistently

We can't fire him so we should stay optimistic. Let's hope he can get it figured out

I mean … “usually” won’t cut it for what he’s being paid.

How’s that OC adjustment going?
How’s that DC adjustment going?
Did special teams adjust?

Hard to call a defense with safeties that won’t tackle.

This BK is a shell of the BK that was at ND. I guess $100 mil and a divorce will do the to you

We obviously still do not have talent in our backfield and our offensive play calling isn’t creative. Gotta go into the offseason fixing those things and I think you will be more competitive next year.

Do people not look at coaching salaries?

You want a 5 million a year coach, hire someone from the sunbelt.

Counterpoint: It can get worse.

Kelly went 4-8 against the following schedule:

5-7 Texas - L
5-7 Nevada - W
3-9 Michigan St - L
4-8 Duke - L
4-8 Syracuse - W
7-6 NC State - L
10-3 Stanford - L
9-4 Miami - W
9-5 Navy - L
8-5 Army - W
10-4 VT - L
10-3 USC - L

Next year we have away games at Clemson, Bama, and Ole Miss.

There is a path to a great 2025 season, but it involves all players with eligibility to come back to school.

This isn't Notre Dame playing Navy and Holy Cross every year. Kelly treaded water at ND because the Priests let him get away with it. Devout Catholic, He never had anything to worry about. 3 star recruiting and brain dead coaching isn't going to cut it in the SEC. Adapt or get run off

His win percentage is basically the same at both.

There are some players (and coaches) that owe LSU a refund, starting with a couple of “1st Rounders” on the OL. They should come back and pay off their debt.

With the money he makes and the talent available to him, there should be NO crappy seasons.
