LSU hit the lottery with JD. I'm not sure Sloan developed him at all

JDs talent was born from necessity because of that shite arse defense we had.

If Sloan was that good, Nuss would have been more than ready. Nah. No way.

Watch your words. The savior of the LSU football program may read this board, and decide elsewhere on his college commitment.

Underwoods commitment means nothing. We went 9-3 with a Heisman winner under Kelly.

So after 3 years starting at ASU, and the one at LSU he just magically turned into the best player in the country.

This is a bad take.

You think Burrow became what he did because of any coach on the LSU staff

QBs get better you know. There's no way Sloan can be this bad of a playcaller and yet somehow be a QB guru.

Jayden has said outright that Sloan played a major role in his development. Sloan can help develop talent. But play-calling is another story.

I think Nuss’ mental game is completely gone. No idea why. Also the interior oline and receivers are trash. Those things are far more to blame than Sloan and it’s not close.

Burrow was a unicorn, but don’t be silly. Joe Brady was monumental on that team. Have you seen Brady in Buffalo as the QB coach, now OC? He’s going to be a HC in the NFL by the next season or two. So from LSU coach 2019 to NFL HC 6-7 years later. Brady was huge for us and knows his shite.

This is fricking dumb. Daniels was a mediocre and relatively unknown quarterback prior to LSU.

Burrow improved due to a system change at LSU and having a guy like Brady. Daniels started to make the proper reads and work through progressions. Something he didn’t at ASU and as majority of his first season at LSU.

I'm saying that Underwood won't make a difference under this staff.

So an elite talent won’t make a difference at LSU. Perhaps LSU should tell him to him to go to Michigan.

Nuss plays nothing like the son of a former NFL QB, former college OC & QB coach. You would expect better instincts & football IQ from him.

It was unbelievable how much he has looked like complete trash and people still defending him. Comparing his first year to JD and Burrow. It was making me sick. This is more like Brandon Harris territory now. (Ok not that bad)

If that’s the case demote him to QB coach because he stinks as a play caller. I have my doubts and think much of JD’s improvement was his private coach and his work ethic.

I disagree.

Its quite obvious we are lacking defensive talent. They are still worlds better than last year.

We have struggled the last 3 weeks mostly due to offense.

4 turnovers in second half vs A&M leading to points

Failure to convert redzone opportunities vs Alabama and take advantage of stops

Tonight you have the ball for 40 minutes and score 16 points.

Like we aren't beating very many teams scoring 13 and 16 points

Well since they are two completely different things, yes there absolutely is a way.

Your statement is incorrect and outright foolish..

How was he unknown in high school sports rich Southern California?

He had offers from 25 D-1 schools..

3 offers were from SEC schools:Georgia ,Tennessee and Ole Miss...

Ohio State ,Florida State,UCLA,Oregon, USC and Utah offered him..

He signed with Pac 12 school Arizona State.

A few reasons were: he could compete for the starting job as a freshman & HC Herm Edwards and his staff were former NFL players..

It wasn't like he was a bust at Az.State either?!

His frosh year he had 2900 passing yards,17 passing touchdowns and 2 interceptions.

Year two he had 5 td passes and 1 int.

Year 3 he had 2300 passing yards ,10 tds ,10 ints..

Year three he led the conference with a 65% completion rating.

Even with 10 ints he still completed 65% of his passing attempts.

I didn't list his rushing yards and tds..

Won the MVP of the Sun Bowl his freshman year!

HOW WAS HE UNKNOWN?
HOW WAS HE MEDIOCRE?

Coach BK knew EXACTLY THE TALENTS AND QUALITIES of the player he was recruiting!

Only the former players, fans and alumn questioned the move..

Then with clear visual evidence of JD's play some complained and wanted him replaced!

Even after he and the team upset Alabama many didn't want him to return?!

The ignorance continued his final year with calls for his benching?!

You dudes say totally false things to denigrate others in attempts to prove points.

No facts.

Daniel's was a highly rated high school player with offers from the top schools in the country.

He and the team were caught up in a school administration, football program ,NCAA situation ...

Additionally ,his time in Tempe,Arizona was during the Covid Pandemic...

Everyone repeatedly claiming knowledge using untruths and baseless, manufactured nonsense.

If you believe that JD WAS EVER MEDIOCRE AS A FOOTBALL PLAYER you are a questionable judge of football talent..
