How could Jake Paul even be proud of that

Sure, he got a massive payday, but doesn’t he have any self-respect or want to be seen as a true “fighter”? He’s already got so much money, and he seemed serious about building a name for himself in boxing. Yep, made a name for himself alright. As a total fricking retard.
Congrats, Jake—you beat a 58 year old man who looked terrible. Who’s going to watch Jake Paul’s matches now? What a joke.
Maybe he just sold out and went for broke, but I cannot imagine anyone taking him seriously again.
As someone who only watches big fights, this made me lose interest in boxing entirely. It was a mockery of the sport.
I can’t believe I stayed up for this. I might’ve even paid for it if it weren’t on Netflix.
There better be fricking riots in Arlington after this piece of shite.

Besides Fury v Wilder boxing hasn’t had any compelling fights in the last 5 years. Boxing has done it to themselves and the long standing joke is that it will eventually turn into WWE. Well, here you have it. If he “fights” Canelo everyone on here will deal with the laggy Netflix feed to once again tune in.

Jake Paul will NEVER fight an opponent like Canelo because he knows he'd get smoked in short order.
Canelo is a bona fide multiple title world champion who has forgotten more about boxing than Jake Paul will ever know.
If that matchup were made, it would be way quicker than the Mayweather/McGregor fiasco a few years ago when Floyd played with the guy for several rounds before stopping him.

I mean…does he really? There’s a reason he’s focused on cherry picking these over 40 retired MMA guys: they draw an audience and he can beat them at his age and talent level. The under 40 was a loss to Fury and that one was not as close as the score cards said.
Dude has professionally trained to be a boxer but in the end, he’s a money merchant. He has no real interest in any “true fighter” title

I couldn't agree more. Mike should be embarrassed about that performance and Jake being proud he won is a joke. Can anyone take that dude seriously about boxing anymore?? I won't watch another JP clown fight ever again. Nothing but a circus show.
