Linkin Park doesn’t exist without Chester Bennington

Terrible take considering Mike wrote a large majority of the music

Meh. The new stuff is pretty good, but go off.

shes no chester but the music is still LP.
CB didnt write much so the vocal sound is the only difference.
new album is still better than the vast majority of the alt stuff pretending to be rock.
listening to new album and the auto play after led me to 2009 creed album. really enjoyed it. doesnt sound like anything else.

Any band that leads its most prominent member should disband

Dude quit taking his anti depressants for a year and then offed himself leaving 5 kids behind, and you want everyone else to suffer too when he didnt write or compose much or any of the music.
What's it like being so miserable?

Mike is the mastermind behind everything Linkin Park. He wrote all of the lyrics, composed majority of the music, and produced every song. Not his fault Chester decided to quit the band and leave his family behind

I was reading something the other day and it gives you a different Point Of View.
Rob, Brad and Phoenix did a lot on the business side and ran majority of that side of the band.
If you think about it, Chester unfortunately died, but are 5/6 members supposed to let their business just die? Ik it’s different and they make music because it’s an art and something they love.
But why end the business? You adapt and keep running your business. It’s hard to replace your lead singer but it’s the main part you listen to and will notice. But I do think they did a great job replacing Chester. It is hard to replace Chester, but I think Emily is just different and just similar enough for it to work

Is it really out of the question that they carried an insurance policy on that dude that paid out big time, then publishing money went through the roof after his death?
He was out anyway.
