Do the agents still split a 6% commission on a transaction like this, or do things like that only apply to us normal folks.

I’m sure on a property valued at that much there is some room for negotiation.

But those properties stay on the market for so long and have so few potential buyers that the agent may have a lot of time invested in it. And they probably have to do more work than some random realtor selling a $300k home in a desirable area.
