The election is a week old and already this board is rending garments over appointments

Even in a venue that is probably in the top 10% of “friendly” environs, Trump is catching grief about stuff that hasn’t even happened, much less shown results.

One of the most exhausting things I would think political leaders have to put up with is this constant nipping at the heels. At some point, can’t people just shut the hell up and see how things play out before trying to convince us they know all the right moves from their recliners or coffee shops?

No wonder they become deaf to these things. Way too much noise.

Nah, they all think they have the right answers. Problem for them is most of them don't understand the questions.

I don’t disagree but It’s a message board meant to discuss politics. Would you prefer the new nominee get posted and everyone just post dancing banana emojis?

The biggest criticism on him was nearly universal in that he made some really bad hires. Would you not expect a bit of scrutiny on that on a board that talks about political shite all day?

All that's true but I'd add that understanding that one doesn't have all the information is just basic humility. Cool your jets people. You (or I) don't know what you don't know. Trust the experience and trust the process.

As I posted yesterday, Trump having all of his appointments go on Rogan would clear a lot of this concern. Musk and Gabbard could help him make this happen. An interview of sorts for the appointees with the American people.

Solid idea. Rogan’s platform is a great place to get a view of how people think. The long form discussion means that even the most scripted content will have to give way to just thinking and talking.

I’m just now listening to Trump’s episode, and it really fills out a LOT of insight that you just don’t get with edited pieces.

Holy Jesus. Not this shite again.

Remember when everyone said Jeff Sessions and Bill Barr we’re going to be the saviors of this administration and that we just need to trust the process?

Everyone here has every right in the world to be critical of appointees who are going to frick up his agenda.

Maybe it wouldn’t be such a hot topic if it wasn’t the #1 thing that bit him in the arse the first go around. Also, people are anxious to see our government reduced and/or cleaned up; they know this could be the last chance for a long time.

Simmer down, friend. I support your right to wet the bed hysterically before you have the information and before anything has actually happened. .

I look forward to you losing your shite when his appointees inevitably side with the swamp

Your hostility, bro? To me of all people?

All I’m saying is WAIT . He covered his philosophy of appointments in the Rogan interview. He’s wiser . He looks like he’s headed to a reform style appointment agenda. Just be patient. And have the humility to understand that he may know things or have a strategy that you don’t yet understand.

Agreed. Trump being elected is just the beginning. We voted for him and now we have to trust his judgement. He's intimately familiar with the DC blob, he wasn't in his first term.
Sunday morning quarterbacks will always be around. They're just weak minded people.

I’m not willing to give him the benefit of the doubt just yet. I have a feeling he’s going to gravitate back to the same old crew but hopefully not.

I’m not falling for the “trust the plan” bullshite this his time.

With a normal politician I would agree because all of the deals were made beforehand, it's all settled. But with Trump, this time around, people are actually watching these conversations and taking notes.
So, air all grievances.

At break I saw a clip of Kash being interviewed and how NOBODY knows who's being appointed to what except Trump. And he's not telling anyone until the last minute when he makes up his mind.
As the interviewer said, Oh you're going to be doing X, Y and Z and you started yesterday.

Many of this board believes that if a person does not align with them 100%, they are the enemy. 100%.
