I never want to see Zion in a Pels uniform again. Trade him now no matter what. I don't give a rats arse what you get in return. I don't care if he ends up winning the MVP for his new team. Just please trade this poor fundamental player. If you watch his game closely you will see he does not do the little things that make the difference in a close game.

He’s already a Top 10 Bust in NBA history

He’ll wind up somewhere in the Top 5 when all is said and done

Olwakandi, anthony bennett, Bargnani, Pervis Ellison, Derrick Coleman, Joe Smith, Kwane Brown, Greg Oden, Fultz, and Ayton.

Hes not top ten. Probably not top 15 even. He has talent just can’t stay healthy or conditioned. We should part ways with him but not as bad as people think. Been some pretty bad picks.

Ayton made a finals and has won multiple playoff series. Wrong.

Come on man. He wasn’t the focal piece of that team. That was CP and Book. Zion is frustrating but hes a much better player than Ayton. That dude is a shitty center.

Derrick Coleman is not a bust. He played 15 seasons and averaged 17/9. He was an all-star and multi-time All-NBA player. He maybe never reached his full potential and had a bad reputation. But I don't think he can be considered a bust. There are a couple of other guys you named, that I am not sure about either.

I think "bust" would be based off expectations and other factors. Like Oden, he never got a shot due to injuries. It's just a bad circumstance. It's not anything he could have controlled..

Oden is a bust regardless of circumstances. I’ll give you that on Coleman. I’m sure there are other guys I could bring up. I get the Zion frustration but hes not top ten. Come on.

It doesn't matter. He's playing games.

I get that. But let me ask you this if Zion became Ayton instead of flashes of talent but injured- you wouldn’t think he was a bust? Ayton is pretty bad.

It doesn't matter. Ayton can participate in games. Zion can't. The best ability is availability.

Fair. I understand that point of view especially with Zion.

Y’all are fricking stupid. Hes a multiple star. Will he ever reach his potential, probably not. Hes lazy and doesn’t have that killer instinct.

But he’s no where near a bust lol.

Devil’s advocate. Did he earn either all star appearance? Or did he get it because he was a popular player in college? Because I don’t remember him playing winning basketball in either all star year. I think he kind of got pity empty stat nods, both times.

You guys need to stop. He was playing great basketball in 22-23 before he got hurt. In 22/23 Zion averaged 26 pts and 7 boards. Zion in 20-21 averaged 27 points and played in 60 games. I get the frustration at Zion but pity nods? Lol whats going on here?

He's been literally one of the most dominant players every time he is on the court. This is an awful franchise and I wish they never drafted him, this story might be completely different.

Zion is a GOAT level talent that can't stay in shape or healthy. However, out of shape Zion is still an automatic 25ppg on 55+% and that's a fact. Nothing close to a bust. Oden was only an above average player when healthy, Zion is a top 5 talent when healthy. A lot of y'all sound ignorant asf.

The conversation is about health. Any conversation about his play is garbage because he's historically good. Foh.

What's going on here is people are frustrated and pissed. and rightfully so. So they are overreacting and saying silly things. I mean there are multiple posters who are saying they want the team to move to Seattle. People are just pissed. Let them vent.

Every time? No, he has certainly not

Acting like the Pelicans deserve the brunt of the blame for Zion being a lazy oaf is exactly why Zion is a lazy oaf. Too much ch coddling and not holding him fully responsible for his actions.

Do Hriff and the Pels deserve some blame for how they’ve handled Zion? Absolutely.

But this all starts with Zion being a bitch and just having the mindset that he wouldn’t have to do much work to be great because he was the first overall pick and hyped up to be a Lebron-level player.

I definitely agree with this bro. I honestly think we all agree about the issues on hand.

I honestly think he didn't want to be here from jump and that set a bad tone for an already badly run franchise. Everything that could possibly go wrong has gone wrong. But the training staff issue must be mentioned because players who come to this team or leave from this team are hurt while they are here and the injuries sustained here affects them at their next stop in some cases.

As a fan of Zion, I know it's bitch made; but I think his mentality would a been completely different if he started out in NY or somewhere with a stable franchise (NY is definitely not yet considered stable lol).
