Are you watching the local elections as close as the Presidential Race?

Pretty much what it asks on the tin.
Purple area where I live. So yes I am.

We freaking should be. Those have a much larger impact on the day to day lives than the presidential race does.

After seeing all these corrupt DAs who made it into office with Soros' money, I've been educated. Local and State offices are extremely important.

Closer, tbh. That mayoral race in BR will impact my life a lot more than the presidential race.

Yes I am watching Ted Cruz's race among others.

I’m watching but I don’t hold out much hope for the Rs here. My district’s congressman has been in office since the early 90s. My senator is Tim Kaine, Hillary’s running mate. And city council and school board have zero R candidates on the ballot. I wrote in a candidate for city council and voted for the Constitution party guy for school board.

Only one Congressional Seat (Scalise) and one amendment in my parish so it's all about the presidential election.

The locals for me was decided before the polls opened. I had never even heard the name of my district rep’s democrat opponent prior to this morning. And Roger Wicker is going to pummel his opponent too.

None of my local elections will be close . I will be watching the amendments in Florida closely . Really hoping we get enough support to pass Amendment 1 and stop 3 and 4 . We have 2 democrat school board members in my county that would be voted out if amendment 1 passes.

We absolutely have to pass amendment 7 here in MO, to outlaw Ranked Choice Voting here.
Hoping you get the "Ayes" for amendment 1 there!

This.
Unfortunately, the voters of Ft Bend and Harris Counties failed horribly at that two years ago, re-electing KP George and Dora the Explorer each to four more years as County Judge.

I wish that we didn’t have so many voting days/separate elections in LA. I really wish we had 1 or 2 a year to maximize the voter turnout.

Kentucky has a constitutional amendment to allow school vouchers. The teachers unions have gone heavy against it. I almost didn't go out and vote this morning but I did so I could vote yes.

Alabama is a solid Red state. I live in a county that Trump won by 89.7% in 2020. Today, out of about 15 or so down ballot races only two had a Democrat challenger. I only remember one and it was state Supreme Court chief justice. Almost all were GOP unopposed. I usually like to fill in my down ballot circles individually but I just voted straight Red this time. I also took my 88-year old mother and she voted the same.
