Ron Paul is the personification of "I told you so"

If we'd ran him in 2012 instead of Romney we might have actually won and the trouble he could've saved us from..

This would be a dream come true. They might actually be able to undo 100 years of government bloat in 4.

Javier Milei. Is there anyone better in the world at gutting the living shite out of government?

I know he's busy, but he and Elon are chums, so he can be a distant advisor.

Let a man dream, dammit.

There’s your answer on how we could pay for the Federal Government off of tariffs only. It would have to be the size that our founding fathers had in mind. I’m definitely on board with that.

I'm proud to say I campaigned for Paul in 2007 during the GOP primary in SC. He was the only candidate that made any level of sense in that primary- and he had massive support.

I lived in Richland County (Columbia) at the time. McCain was doing so poorly there he actually closed his offices about 6 weeks before the election. You saw Paul signs in yards, and a handful of Romney stuff.

But lo and behold, on election primary night, McCain took Richland County and cruised to the SC GOP primary, and as a result, the Nomination.

I went to McCain's campaign events, as a reporter. I'm here to tell you, he had no popular support. He was installed. That was a major red pill for me. It's always been crooked.

I’ve never been a big political guy. I didn’t get riled up and start posting here until Trump got shot. I paid attention in the years of 16 and 20 election and that’s it. But, I’ll never forget RP being boo’d during a debate and never wavering. Knew there was something to him. Started to somewhat follow him after

I’m irrationally excited about this.

If I had to pick two people to head up a cleanup of the federal government it would be Ron Paul and twitter era Elon Musk.

RP and RFK are similar in some ways and yet very different but both are politicians I like. I was actually a registered D in 2012 so couldn’t vote for RP. Can’t believe both are teaming up with Trump. RP was huge to young Rs back then. I considered changing parties due to RP then but never did. Watched a Trump rally in 16 and changed from D to R the next day

yeah theres been no legit elections here in our lifetime it seems. Trump snuck in 2016 and they are doing everything to prevent him from coming thru the front door this time. But at least technology lets everyone see what a fraud our system has become.

My parents are lifelong republicans (ran for office and my mom was chair of the county RNC.)

A few years ago I mentioned I had moved over more to the libertarian side of things and really liked Paul.

My dad said “that kook?”

I said as opposed to the two neocons that got their asses kicked by Obama? The Bush (which we both voted for) side wasted trillions of dollars annd thousands of lives in the Middle East and were cowards when it came to putting a stop to the 2008 crash.

We ran milquetoast candidates backed by Wall Street and chamber of commerce in 2000, 2004, 2008, and 2012 and look where that got us.

I always get a chuckle when dorks on here whine about how Fox news treats Trump. It is childs play compared to the way they treated Ron Paul.

Can you imagine the recession/depression if the government staff was gutted? It would be epic. Unemployment would be a record high.

Based on government employee demographics, I would expect minorities would be disproportionately impacted.
