It’s a train wreck over there and we got their future picks.

2025 protected
2026 Swap Rights
2027 first

Giannis for all their picks, BI, and whatever salary needed to match.

Zion and Herb straight up Giannis works. I would hate to let herb go but with Giannis we would be a better team.

I would obviously make offers for him but I feel like he forces his way somewhere else.

We should hold on for dear life to those picks and the swap.

If WE have to rebuild, those will be valuable. Could also use CJ's salary for a star this offseason

One of the tweets I saw claims Miami and Brooklyn are on his short list. So cliche it feels like made up clickbait.

Yeah I saw that and laughed out loud.

I assume Brooklyn has assets

Am I crazy for thinking the best thing that could happen would be the Bucks try and make moves to make things better, even if they trade Giannis trying to get another star instead of full rebuild, and that fails to?

Pushes their rebuild back a year or two.

As long as Doc Rivers is coaching with Darvin Ham. They can do whatever they want.

He's got 2 years left after this year, and a PO. He doesnt' get to choose where he goes. If he's traded, the Bucks are rebuilding, and they are going to take the best offer they can get, and neither Miami nor LA can come close to matching offers that we could throw out, or OKC, or Utah, or SAS, or a host of other teams.
Now i'm sure he can have some say in where he goes as it pertains to teams with good offers, but he's not forcing himself to the Heat. First of all, the Heat are a 1st apron team, so they have to take back less salary than they send out, and that goes for the Bucks too. So they'd have to dump salary to a 3rd team. And the Heat only have their 2029 1st they can trade. Why would the Bucks take Tyler Herro and other shite with a '29 1st when they can get much much much more than that from others? People act like AD forced himself to the Lakers and we got screwed. Yeah he forced his way there, and we were very well compensated for it. BI/Lonzo/Hart/#4 and 3 more firsts and swaps were a lot more than Tyler fricking Herro and a '29 1sts.

And i'd trade Zion for him. Zion and Giannis won't work together. They are the same player (b/c they can't shoot 3's), minus the fact that one of them actually gives a shite about winning on both sides of the court.

Zion/Hawkins and give them back their 2026 swap and their 27th 1st, and if they wanted another first fine, I don't give a shite.
I want a lineup of Murray/Herb/Trey/Giannis and we can decide what we do with BI/CJ from there.

Lillard and Zion together is a playoff team at least, and it gives them assets to still build for the future.
There isn't another team out there that can offer someone like Zion for Giannis, and that assumes we are even entertaining the idea of trading Zion.

This pick might convey to Atlanta.

The Dejounte Murray trade is looking worse and worse.

if they want to blow up and rebuild.

The Nets have a wild amount of draft capital.

They have in 25:
Their Own Pick
Knick’s Pick
Bucks pick 1-4 (we have 5-30)
PHX’s pick that is 4 swaps in a trenchcoat.

Houston has swap rights with PHX pick which was traded to the Nets.
OKC has swap rights with Houston and the Clippers but Houston’s is protected. so if Houston falls in the top 10, their pick can’t be swapped. Houston then CAN swap with the Suns but that would likely
mean they have a better top 10 pick.

2026- they have their own
2027- 76er (Top 8 Protected and deferrable to 2028) NYK straight up
2028- Their Own Pick, Swap rights with NYK and another unsealed convoluted swap pick deal.
2029- Their piick,Knicks pick and either Houston/Dal or PHX pick.

I can't imagine Giannis would agree to going to a worse situation than he is in now.

probably not

the thunder also have a ton of draft capital and a deep roster.

i feel like if they wanted to they could really make a play for a guy who would fit well.

That would be terrifying if they added Giannis without giving up part of their main core.
