Based on not stopping the Aggie QB, how can we stop Milroe?

We figured out how to stop Reed after just a few plays. The problem was all those plays were in the red zone because our QB refuses to throw the ball away.

They have two weeks to scheme for Milroe. The Aggie qb switch left our d with their minds going like this:

Gonna take all 11 guys on defense. With no Perkins we don’t have one linebacker who can match milroe based on pure athleticism so we gotta be creative. We also gotta play Xavier Atkins over Penn more when we face these mobile qbs Penn is just too slow sideline to sideline. I trust baker to come up with a gameplan (hopefully this time focuses a lil attention on the backup too jus in case )

It's all part of the bigger plan. Muhammed Ali's old "rope-a-dope" strategy. We make Bama think it's easy and then we change schemes. Right? We change schemes? Please tell me we will CHANGE THE frickING SCHEME?

Well based on not preparing for Reed, I’d trust Baker will prepare them for Milroe.

They run the same offense as aTm did with Reed. Except Milroe has receivers and can throw it.
Could be a long day, or maybe we can be competitive without all the mistakes on offense and special teams.

No he won’t. Milroe sucks arse. We just were not prepared at all for Aggie QB. Defense probably felt pressure too and just collapsed in the situations they were in. Lots of unfortunate circumstances that we probably won’t have for the Bama game.

Milroe has ran for a total of 108 yards in his last four games. We'll be fine.

Nothing like LSU’s defense to cure the QB rushing blues

Plan ahead...

It is like BK and Baker simply didn't think to practice against their backup QB who had started what four games and had a ton of success.

We were flat footed and lost on defense when he was in the game.

That, plus bad play calling on offense which led to tougher field goal attempts, etc.

All that plus playing on the road in primetime...

How many guys on our defense practiced against JD last year? How is a mobile QB a mystery to our defense?

Couldn’t stop him last year. Couldn’t stop Reed after knowing exactly what he would do. Bama will score 40.

Incorrect. He threw the ball away on a 2 point conversion attempt.

We have two weeks to prepare exclusivley for Milroe and we get him at home.

Baker will have the team ready this time. Will it be enough? Hard to say, but we'll definitley be prepared.

Do you mean on their 5th drive? Where they still moved the ball for first down or two

We didn't stop Reed at all. Never seen anything like what saw in 2nd half

We didn't prep for Reed. It's not the best excuse in the world, but it's also understandable. We'll prepare for Milroe for 2 weeks. Doesn't mean we're going to stop him, but I'm just not going to look at our Defense's 2nd half from this past week and say that's what this defense is. We held Taylen Green to almost nothing, and the very next week he put up 58 points and was the highest graded QB in the country. This defense has been really good against the QBs that they have prepared for in the past 4 games. My biggest concern is that they don't get their confidence and swagger back after this really rough half of football. Gotta come out with their hair on fire against Bama.

Just answered your own question, we can't. LSU will get their 3rd loss and traveling to the swamp. Kelly is not the answer for LSU.
