Harold Perkins would have been great to make up for that running QB

The deep pass was beautiful too, but it was one pass.

Young man needs some size, and Perk would have lit his arse up.

or they should have had a scouting report for a QB that started a couple of games this season because the starting QB was out injured.

This board is convinced Perkins sucks and the defense Was worse with him so this type of post will most likely be met with “ Perkins peaked his freshmen year “ responses

Wasn’t Perkins on the field last year when Milroe destroyed us?

Kelly admitted after the game that his one regret was not putting Perkins as a spy on Radio Milroe.

Which the entire Score Board was screaming about for the whole 2nd half… a bunch of message board posters calling to do exactly what the head coach regretted not doing.

We held Jaylen Green in check for four quarters without Perk. Not that he wouldn’t have helped but that wasn’t the issue.

He would have made no difference. The problem was gap assignments, and you can’t fix that with one guy spying the QB.

That was an undisciplined defense with everyone trying to be a hero instead of doing his job.

How did he do against Milroe last season?

His athleticism would have been nice to have. His inability to be disciplined in his approach to gaps and containment would have been detrimental though maybe no more so than what we had. The odds are that he would have been a wash at best.

Takes like this are insanely bad and ignore the disaster of a coach Matt house was. Harold Perkins was not used as a spy vs Milroe Brian Kelly literally admitted that in the post game press conference after that game

Perkins is one of the best spying lbs in the game. Milroe went nuts against us last year but they had Perkins rushing the passer all game.
