But think about it in 2022 and going into 2023 95% of this board was saying the same things they are saying about Nuss right now except for the ability to run

They were dumb.

Even in 2022, JD5's best game and worst game were still better than what Nuss has shown thus far.

I'm glad I caught the end of that, I was watching the Pelicans game.

This is not true. JD5 avg. 150 yds passing per game on the year. There were games under 100 yds. He did run about 100 yds per game but missed many big plays to great WRs because he couldn’t process the passing game yet. Running and passing combined, Niss is averaging about 100 yds per game more in his first year than JD5.

That you're using yards per game to try and counter, tells me all I need to know

Same people that didn’t like JD in ‘23 didn’t like him in ‘24. They said he shouldn’t win the Heisman & they also said he shouldn’t be drafted so high. Also found a way to blame him for all our loses that season (I remember).Their dislike isn’t based on football. Some of those same people are defending Nuss. Take all the time you need.

So 96 yards, 0TDs and 2 turnovers is better than 400+ yards 2TDs and 3 turnovers? Lmfao you’re a moron

I do too. He was incredible. He runs such an efficient offense.

I’m an LSU fan. I liked JD5 in 2022 and he proved his supporters correct in 2023. Nuss is a different QB on his eighth start with no help from a running game and he’s farther along than JD5 at this point but likely won’t achieve JD5 level because JD5 was generational and Kelly coached him up to that level.
